Find the derivative of f(x)\, with respect to x\,: f(x)={\frac {x+7}{(x-6)(x+2)}}\,

This will be a quotient rule. When computing the derivative of the bottom, a product rule will need to be used.

f'(x)={\frac {(x-6)(x+2)-(x+7)(x-6+x+2)}{(x-6)^{2}(x+2)^{2}}}={\frac {-(x^{2}+14x-16)}{(x-6)^{2}(x+2)^{2}}}\,
