f(x)={\frac  {x}{x+1}}\,

Just follow the formula given. If we know the derivative of the numerator and the derivative of the denominator then we can take the derivative of the fraction using the quotient rule.

f'(x)={\frac  {(x+1){\frac  {d(x)}{dx}}-(x){\frac  {d(x+1)}{dx}}}{(x+1)^{2}}}={\frac  {1}{(x+1)^{2}}}\,
