i). divf=div(x^{2}yi-2xzj+2yzk)={\frac  {\partial }{\partial x}}(x^{2}y)+{\frac  {\partial }{\partial y}}(-2xz)+{\frac  {\partial }{\partial z}}(2yz)\,, by definition of divergence.

=2xy+0+2y=2y(x+1)\,

ii). div[(x^{2}-y^{2})i+2xyj+(y^{2}-2xy)k]={\frac  {\partial }{\partial x}}(x^{2}-y^{2})+{\frac  {\partial }{\partial y}}(2xy)+{\frac  {\partial }{\partial z}}(y^{2}-2xy)\,

=2x+2x+0=4x\,
