State whether the following pair of circles intersect or donot intersect or touch eachother. (x-1)^{2}+(y-3)^{2}=1\, and (x+3)^{2}+(y-1)^{2}=9\,

Given circles (x-1)^{2}+(y-3)^{2}=1\,

centre is A(1,3),r1=radius=1 and for the second circle B=centre=(-3,1),r2=radius=3

d=AB=2{\sqrt  {5}},r_{1}+r_{2}=4\,

Therefore

d>(r_{1}+r_{2})\,. The two circles don't intersect eachother.
