Distance of a straight line from the origin is p.The normal on the straight line from the origin makes an angle \alpha \, with the X-axis in positive direction.Find the equations of straight lines whose values are p=5,\alpha =60^{\circ }\,

The equation of the line is

x\cos \alpha +y\sin \alpha =p\,

x\cos 60^{\circ }+y\sin 60^{\circ }=5\,

x{\frac {1}{2}}+y{\frac {{\sqrt {3}}}{2}}=5\,

x+{\sqrt {3}}y=10\,
