Find a function that is harmonic on the vertical strip from x = 1 to 2 and equals 20 and 30 at x = 1 and 2.

Guess \phi(x,y) = Ax+B\,

Then

\phi(1,0) = A+B = 20\,

\phi(2,0) = 2A+B = 30\,

So A=B=10\,

\phi(x,y) = 10x+10\,
