Determine k\, so that k+2,4k-6,3k-2\, are the three consecutive terms of an A.P

The common difference in arithmetic progression is secon term minus first term is equal to difference between third and second terms.

Hence(4k-6)-(k+2)=(3k-2)-(4k-6)\,

3k-8=7k+4\,

-4k=12,k=-3\,

Therefore,the value of k\, is -3\,
