Find the locus of a point P,the square of whose distance from origin is 4 times its y coordinate.

Let P be (x,y).

The geometric condition given is

OP^{2}=4y\,

Squaring both sides,we get

OP^{2}=4y\,

(x-0)^2+(y-0)^2=4y\,

x^2+y^2=4y\,
