Find the locus of a point P,the square of whose distance from origin is 4 times its y coordinate.

Let P be (x,y).

The geometric condition given is

OP^{{2}}=4y\,

Squaring both sides,we get

OP^{{2}}=4y\,

(x-0)^{2}+(y-0)^{2}=4y\,

x^{2}+y^{2}=4y\,
