Find the point which divides the line segment joining (4,5) and (-3,4) in the ratio -6:5

Applying the formula of dividing the line segment

\left({\frac {-6\cdot (-3)+5\cdot 4}{-6+5}},{\frac {-6\cdot 4+5\cdot 5}{-6+5}}\right)\,

\left(-38,-1\right)\,

Hence the point is(-38,-1)
