Find the value of k\, in \frac{3x}{(x-6)(x+k)}=\frac{2}{x-6}+\frac{1}{x+k}\,

Given \frac{3x}{(x-6)(x+k)}=\frac{2}{x-6}+\frac{1}{x+k}\,

Equating the numerators on both sides,we get

3x=2(x+k)+(x-6)\,

Let x=6, we get 3(6)=2(6+k),6+k=9,k=3\,

Therefore,the value of k\, is 3.
